  • It is recommended that each attendee comes to the class without any makeup on, cleansed, toned and moisturized skin, or whatever skin care regimen you normally do.

This class will be a hands on experience, conducted with Kat Garcia leading the class while demonstrating on a live model. During the demonstration, students will be following along step by step using their own products and tools (see list below) in order to get a direct feel by going through the motions of applying makeup at a professional level. This class and the makeup look being demonstrated will be suitable for students of beginner-intermediate levels of experience. Although most attendees for this class will more than likely be joining to learn for personal use, if you are a current/aspiring makeup artist you are more than welcomed to join.

During this class we will be serving refreshments through out the day such as water, tea and coffee, and lunch will be included with your ticket purchase. There will be a 30-45 min lunch break during the middle for you to refresh and revive yourself with some yummy food!

Since the class is in front of a large group of people, it is understandable that it may be difficult to see details if you’re not up close. In order for everyone to get a good view of each step there will be a tv monitor at the front of the class where you will be able to see the live feed of the event.

A video tutorial of the makeup lesson will be shared privately with all attendees after the class so you can continue to practice. This video will be available to you for up to 90 days.

Also you will be given a learning packet filled with writing material in order for you to take any notes, and a mirror for you to use during the class. There will be makeup in the goodie bags from some of our sponsors which you will be more than welcomed to use during the class, but as stated above you are required to bring your own supplies such as makeup products and tools.

Here you will see the recommended products to bring to the class so you can come prepared! Makeup products can be expensive, please don’t feel pressured to go out and buy everything. Go through your current makeup collection and see what you are missing, and build your shopping list from there. Also feel free to just sit in on the class and take notes and view the class, and practice at a later time. I don’t want anyone to feel as if they need to drop a lot of money just for this experience.
